David Hobbs uses his extensive experience in managing the conception, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of complex Content Management System-driven Web sites to assist clients in all aspects of Web Operations Management, including analysis of existing operational and technical processes and the development of strategic roadmaps. For over ten years, David has been coordinating local, national, and international teams to conceive, design and implement complex Internet systems and web sites.

Prior to joining WelchmanPierpoint, David served as product manager for the World Bank’s content publishing system, used to publish 100,000 pieces of content for more than 1,000 World Bank Web sites.  He was responsible for ensuring the system met the needs of hundreds of users across the 30+ units of the organization who were publishing in more than 20 languages.

Prior to his tenure at the World Bank, David served as CTO for a web development and strategy company. He has held programming and project management roles in the corporate sector. David was a Peace Corps volunteer in Chad, and holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, College Park, and an MS in Computer Science from Georgia Tech.
