Project: Governance Strategy

Challenge:
The World Bank operates Web sites in 185 countries. This presents unique challenges in defining a Governance strategy—a strategy that outlines who holds the management authority for each site.

Outcome:
We listened to the needs and challenges of the organization and devised several possible models, or strategies, for governing the various sites uniformly. After reviewing the options, the World Bank selected the governance model that best suited their needs. Our team then crafted the details of the chosen framework including:

• The makeup of the governing body
• Escalation path for airing differences
